Mission Statement:

The mission of Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School is to provide an educational environment which is disciplined, nurturing and safe. We believe in striving to meet the needs of our diverse learners, while preparing each student to meet the challenges that high school will bring.

Through the efforts of a highly qualified and motivated staff, our students will strive to meet or exceed State Goals and Standards, demonstrate the ability to solve problems, and perform tasks requiring higher level thinking skills.

We are further committed to establishing working relationships with community organizations in order to seek their involvement and support in our day-to-day endeavors.

Finally, it is our belief that when parents, teachers, staff and community work together cooperatively, excellence in education for all students will result.
