Mission Statement:

The faculty and staff at Sward School realize and understand the importance and power of team building in striving to achieve the District's vision. In an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation, teachers, staff members and parents share the responsibilities of providing an enriched academic environment with efforts focused on meeting the needs of all learners. There is a strong desire shared by faculty and parents to provide instruction and guidance in developing the social and behavioral skills appropriate for students to internalize self-discipline principles. The faculty is committed to developing their own skills and knowledge base regarding current educational trends, as demonstrated by active involvement in professional development.
