I graduated from Lemont Central School, Lemont, IL
I graduated from Lemont Township High School, Lemont, IL
I graduated from Moraine Valley Community College with High Honors.
My family consists of my wonderful husband and my two beautiful children. I LOVE to spend time with my family at our summer park model, play volleyball, roller blade, and water ski.
I have a dog named Mandy and two cats named Pumpkin and Trixie.
I love teaching students about technology. It's so rewarding to see how much they are learning. I always learn something new everyday!
Professional Information Duties ![]()
- Supervise K-3rd grade one 30 minute class period per week, per classroom section.
- Supervise 4-6 grades one 45 minute class period per week, per classroom section.
- Helps classroom teachers schedule and supervise the integration of word processing with creative writing in language arts and across the curriculum.
- Supervises open lab time: Teachers check out the lab to work on special projects.
- Manages the LAN network, including data updates and daily backups.
- Maintains electronic equipment on a day to day basis.
- Installs new equipment
- Acts as a troubleshooter for any and all equipment problems throughout the school.
- Acts a trouble shooter for all networking problems throughout the building.
- Installs relevant software for entire building, and supports staff when utilizing WAN(Wide Area Network).
- Researches URLs that will correlate with classroom curriculum for district web page.
- Works with building team on developing a building web page.
- Develops a building computer lab web page.
- Consults with teachers regarding software utilization.
- Assist teachers with utilization of technology in classroom settings.
- Assist students individually or in groups with projects involving technology.
- Assist teachers in utilizing Internet searching.
- Loads new software on all computers.
- Responsible for previewing, purchasing, and implementing new software in the lab.
- Researches software to support classroom instruction(in one computer classroom).
- Researches information for curriculum using the Internet.
- Participates in training programs as provided by the District to keep skills current with technological developments.
- Learns new software and hardware to support teachers and students.
- Supports and upgrades MacSchool-Secretaries and Teachers.
- Modify and implement Technology Curriculum.
- Records software and hardware inventory.
- Orders supplies from district.
- Works cooperatively with District Technology Coordinator and building Principal to implement successfully the District Technology Plan.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time by building administrator or Technology Coordinator.
