Parent Share Fair

The purpose of this evening is to provide our district parents and community with relevant, meaningful information and resources on a variety of important educational topics. 

On Wednesday, February 9, 2011, District 123 will hold its inaugural Parent Share Fair. The purpose of this evening is to provide parents and community members with relevant, meaningful information and resources on a variety of important educational topics. All District 123 parents and community members are invited to attend this event. There is no cost to attend, and free child care will be provided.

Dancing with the Spartans

Ms. Eileen Jones will promote this high school fundraising event (3/11/11) which will mirror the popular TV show Dancing with the Stars: four male teachers and four female teachers chosen by the students have been paired with professional dancers for two months of lessons and one night of competition. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.

E.D.G.E. Program

Education for Gang Evasion, is an 8-week program provided by the O.L.P.D. to educate our 8th graders about the dangerous and illegal activities of gangs as well as the consequences of gang affiliation.  Gang specialist, Officer Pacetti, will be on-hand to also discuss the proactive measures taught such as conflict resolution, dealing with peer pressure, and the value of getting involved in positive, meaningful activities.
