A SYNOPSIS OF WHAT HAPPENED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
OAK LAWN-HOMETOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT 123 BOARD OF EDUCATION.
The open meeting was held at the Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School (OLHMS) Cafetorium and called to order at 7:30 p.m.
Special Presentations - Just5Clicks
Greg Gutkowski and Wally Schauer provided background information about Just5Clicks, District 123’s new Data Management Software.
THE BOARD HEARD FROM THE ADMINISTRATION REGARDING:

- AERO Program Development/Future Needs
THE BOARD TOOK THE FOLLOWING ACTION:
- Approved the minutes of November 27, 2006
- Approved the closed session minutes of November 27, 2006
- Approved employment of educational support personnel, 2006-07
Gary, Michael – Sp. Ed. Instructional Aide at OLHMS
Paluck, Louise – Office Aide at Covington School
- Adopted the 2006 Certificate of Tax Levy in the amount of $24,723,537
- Adopted Tax Levy Resolution, 2006 - Working Cash Fund
- Adopted Tax Levy Resolution, 2006 - Fire Prevention and Safety Purposes
- Approved Certificate of Compliance with the Truth in Taxation Act
- Adopted Resolution Allocating Tax Levy to Individual Funds of the District-Property Tax Extension Limitation Law
- Approved the list of bills as presented, the Fund Reconciliation Report, the summary financial reports, and the payroll in the amount of $1,425,566.63
The meeting was adjourned at 8:23 p.m.
