A SYNOPSIS OF WHAT HAPPENED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE
OAK LAWN-HOMETOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT 123 BOARD OF EDUCATION.

The closed session convened at 7:00 p.m. The open meeting was held at the Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School (OLHMS) Cafetorium and called to order at 7:35 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Special Presentations -

Brandt Construction Update
Andrew McCall reviewed the general plan for the Brandt School renovation, the release of bids, the dates of future bid openings, etc.

Planetarium Trip
Lois Bruno detailed the successful family field trip to the Planetarium on January 6, 2006.

Covington School Improvement Plan
Lyle Neal, Principal, outlined the Covington School Improvement Plan for 2005-2006, including data analysis of ISAT trends. He also highlighted the results of a parent satisfaction survey that was conducted in October of 2005.
