Cougar Creed

As a Covington student,

I will respect my classmates, my teachers, and myself.
I will listen and follow instructions.

I will complete my homework everyday.

I believe that success means being respectful, responsible, and safe.
I will reach for my dreams with ability, determination, and hard work.
I will do my best this day, and not waste it, for this day will not come again.

Words to Live By...

Each month we will put a whole school community focus on one of these skills. All staff members will be searching for students demonstrating their understanding of this skill in their daily life. We want to 'catch' students 'living by' the skill of the month. As we find these students they will be recognized-immediately with a 'Cougar Paw.'
