Remember, as a student, the best thing you can do to make this a successful school year is come to school everyday, ready to learn, with a positive attitude, ready to work cooperatively with me and your classmates. We are a team. Our success will be greater when we all work together.

Welcome to our website, a place that you can visit to learn all of the important information about what is going on in our classroom and at school. I hope you are able to find everything that you need, keeping you informed of the procedures, events, and learning activities for the 2012-2013 school year.

One way I help encourage a love of reading is by offering Scholastic Book Clubs orders forms. If you choose to purchase books for your child, you may order online with our classroom code. The code is F98LX. Please do not feel pressured to buy, but know that if you do, I am then able to use points earned to purchase more books for our classroom.

Have you visited the PARENT RESOURCE ROOM yet? There are some wonderful books, games, and manipulatives that you can use with your child. Stop in and visit Mrs. Strozak. She is very willing to help you find materials to continue your child's learning at home. Materials are loaned for a 2 week period. Stop in and check it out! New to the Parent Resource Room:Tuesday evening hours, 4:30-6:30 with raffle for families who visit.

Please check out our schedule and the website links. If your child needs more multiplication fact practice, there are some great games on the internet that can help with that.

It would be very helpful for each student to have a set of earbuds or headphones for their own use on the laptops and netbooks. If you have already sent a set to school, THANK YOU!
