Differentiation: Creating Pathways for Learning

Differentiation is an approach to teaching and learning that is based on the idea that all children should be engaged in “respectful work.” With this model, approaches to learning vary and are adjusted to meet the needs of diverse students in the classroom. Flexibility is the key to differentiated instruction.

The following download files provide further explanation of differentiated instruction, strategies used by teachers within our district to meet student needs, and suggestions for how families can assist their students at home with learning.
