Message from the President

As we begin a new school year I want to welcome you to the parent-teacher groups of our school district. These groups, the PTA, PTO and PTSA, are working very hard to plan fun, entertaining and educational programs for every child’s benefit throughout the year.

I hope you will consider joining your school’s group. All of their activities are run by parent volunteers. Your special talent may be just what is needed to make an event a success! Join a committee, help run an event at school, or perhaps help from home. Whatever you are able to do will make a difference, and no matter how you help, being involved in your child’s school will have an impact.

Every school’s parent-teacher group has monthly meetings you can attend. Dates and times are listed in the Apple calendar, as well as the District website. The PTA, PTO or PTSA meeting is the perfect time to hear what the group is planning along with principal reports about the school.

Your school’s parent group president is available to answer any questions you may have regarding the group. Feel free to contact me as well with your thoughts or concerns. Pleas show your support and join your local PTA, PTO or PTSA. Have a great school year!
