Arrival/Dismissal Procedures

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURES

Staff will be available to supervise students at 8:15 am each morning. All students will enter at Door #1 and go directly to the multi-purpose room to wait in class lines for their teachers to arrive at the 8:25 am bell.

Early Childhood and Blended Early Learning students will enter at Door #2 at 8:45 am for the morning session and at 12:30 pm for the afternoon session.

Parents should follow the main driveway signs for drop-off of students at Door #1. When First Student buses arrive, the buses have the right of way, and parents must obey the bus’s flashing red lights and stop sign until it is empty of students.

PTP and EC students get on and off Rich Lee buses behind the school on Kilbourn Ave. Staff members meet students there, and Door #10 is used for entrance and exit.

At dismissal, students are to immediately walk home, meet in their bus lines in the gym, or meet their parents outside of school. Older children who are to walk younger brothers or sisters home should meet them at a prearranged location outside of the building.

If a student is being picked up by anyone other than those on file with the school, or if a student is being picked up rather than ride the bus as usual, a note from the parent must be sent to the school that morning. Without a note, the student will be required to follow the established routine for returning home after school.
