Our literacy block each day consists of word work, guided reading in small groups, center rotations, writing, and building our reading stamina. Students will have homework in literacy one to two times a week.
Math is done every afternoon after lunch. Math homework is sent home on Mondays and is due back, with parent signatures, on Friday. Math incorporates problem solving skills with oral and written explanations, strategy use, and number manipulation.
