Title: Counting with Fish
Subject:

Grade Level: Kindergarten

Overview: During the beginning of learning numbers and counting, students will work in math-based centers. "Counting with Fish" will be the technology center that will strengthen number identification.

Purpose: Throughout the introduction of numbers and counting in Kindergarten this web site game can be used as a fun enrichment activity for the children to enhance their counting skills

Resources and Materials: Everyday Math, counting activities, and math manipulatives

Activities:
1. Students will recognize and read numbers that are shown in the ocean.
2. As the student clicks the number answer they select the game plays a fun song.
3. This activity includes fish counting as well as number recognition.

Evaluation: Teacher observation will be used to ensure student understanding of counting and numbers.
