Title: The Sharing Game
Subject: Conflict Resolution (sharing)
Grade Level: Kindergarten

Overview: This sharing activity will be used in a technology center after extensively discussing and practicing the manner of sharing.

Purpose: The children will learn the concept of sharing or dividing an object up equally so that everyone has a turn.

Resources and Materials: Theme related “sharing” literature prior to the playing of the sharing game.

Activities: The student will have to divide up the object given so that each person gets an equal amount.

Evaluation: The teacher will observe while the children are playing the sharing game to see if they are understanding the concept of sharing and splitting items equally.
