Overview: Students will create their own fairy tale illustration on the website, and use this picture to write their own fairy tale story.

Purpose: To illustrate and write a fairy tale story independently.

Resources and Materials: Fairy tale stories and the computer.

Activities:
1. The teacher will read several different fairy tale stories.
2. Go to the website listed above.
3. They will then work in centers to build their own fairy tale illustration on the website.
4. They will print their finished product.
5. Then as a follow up activity the students will write their own fairy tale to match their picture.
6. The students will share their pictures and stories with the class.

Evaluation: The teacher will check for completion of both the illustrations and writing tasks.
