Title: Class DVD Project
Subject: Language Arts/Technology
Grade Level: 2

Objectives:
Students will write a paragraph about their favorite memories of second grade and use technology as they record their voices into an I Movie.

Resources and Materials:
iPhoto
iMovie
microphone, digital camera

Activities:
Pictures will be taken with a digital camera and stored in iPhoto of each child in class.
Students will each write a paragraph about their most memorable memories of second grade.
They will practice reading/reciting their paragraphs, as they would prepare to read it on TV and/or radio..
The teacher will then import all photos into the iMovie program.
Once photos are in, teacher will record each of the student’s paragraphs.
The teacher will then import other photos taken throughout the year and put those photos to a music background.
The teacher will then burn a DVD for each student as an end of the year memory.
