Subject: All Subject Areas
Grade Level: All
Objectives:
Students will have a better understanding of the content related to a particular unit of study. Allows for many learning styles, principally auditory and visual, to be accommodated.
Resources and Materials:
No outside websites are necessary, although hyperlinked content can be integrated onto slides for added interest.
Activities:
This is a template for a jeopardy-style game that is primarily used to review content. Typically, the teacher plays the role of game show host, while students can answer responses using a bell, timer or ‘Eggspert’ device. However, it can be utilized by small or whole group, individually, as well as in centers. The game begins with a title slide, followed by a question board slide. The game has been set to have questions ‘disappear’ once the operator chooses them via the color scheme option panel. The game has a home button at the bottom-right corner of each question slide that allows access back to the question board. Finally, the last slide allows for answers to be inserted into a grid if needed. (Example of powerpoint slides)
