Make-A-Wish volleyball game a great success

The 2011 OLHMS Make-A-Wish volleyball game was an outstanding success thanks to efforts of District 123 parents, students, staff, and community. The event allowed OLHMS to eclipse the $230,000 mark for total monies raised since the start of the Make-A-Wish efforts. These contributions have directly led to the granting of 44 wishes. Below are specific statistics about the success of the 2011 volleyball game.
- Total money raised: $3,116
- OLHMS staff participants: 66
- Oak Lawn Police Department participants: 7
- Oak Lawn Fire Department participants: 12
- Student volleball members: 33
- Cheerleaders: 22
- Concert band members: 70
- Chorus members: 25
- Beat It Bucket Club members: 12
- Media productions members: 3
