Representative Burke Visits with Middle School Students

 Illinois State Representative Kelly Burke visited with seventh grade students at OLHMS on Tuesday, January 17, and Wednesday, January 18, to discuss the Illinois Constitution and how the Illinois bill-making process takes place. The visit supported the Illinois unit of study students are currently engaging.

Thank you to Representative Burke and the seventh grade staff members who worked to make this visit happen. It was a tremendous opportunity for students to hear from a current representative and learn about the Illinois government through an excellent, interactive learning experience.
