Sward Bingo Night Wins Big

 On Tuesday, March 15, the Sward PTA hosted its annual VIP Bingo Night. Over 400 students and family members gathered in the school’s gym to enjoy this free family event. Local merchants donated terrific prizes for students, as well as adult prizes such as gift certificates for restaurants, salons, and car washes. Sward’s teaching staff offered prizes like “lunch with the teacher” and “sit at the teacher’s desk” for the students. A popular prize for students of all ages is “Pizza with the Principal”. The Bingo games were called by Sward parent, Mr. Bob Woods, whose entertaining style added to the evening’s enjoyment. This year many parents donated gift baskets to the PTA as part of a raffle held at the end of the night. This event is always a crowd pleaser!
