Acoustic Exchange Club

When: Tuesdays 3:30 - 4:30 (meets all year)

Purpose

The purpose of the Acoustic Exchange club is to give new and experienced guitar players a venue to share and create music.  Students will be able to collaborate with other students to learn new songs, learn new techniques and expand their musical ability. Students are also encouraged to share what they learn with the community through church, family occasions and any other opportunity that may arise.

Rational

The best way to learn is by teaching!  Students will be teaching each other through collaboration and shared interest.  Experienced and novice guitar players can learn a great deal from each other during this process.  This club also provides students, who might not be a traditional club member, an opportunity to become involved in an extracurricular activity.

Requirements

You must have your own guitar!  One will not be provided for you.  Only join this club if you have a guitar.  All guitars will be brought to room 2013 in the morning of the day we meet.  All guitars must be taken home after the club meeting.  The school will not be responsible for any instrument left here overnight in room 2013.
