Welcome to Sward School! Welcome to the 2008-09 school year! The Sward faculty and staff are very pleased to have your family join our Sward family! We are looking forward to a productive year working with you and your child. The Sward School faculty is committed to the belief that the level of parental involvement in a child’s education is the most important indicator as to the success that child will attain. It is a working policy of our faculty that if parents have any questions or concerns they should call the school office at 423-7820. While teachers are not always immediately available to receive phone calls, your message will be taken and given to the teacher. Phone calls are returned as quickly as possible, usually the day they are received. At Sward, communication is a 3-way street. It is our belief that your child receives the best education possible when the teacher, the student and the parent work as a team. We expect your active participation in this partnership. You are a vital component to the success of this team! On our web pages you will find the answers to the many questions you may have about Sward School. Please read it carefully. You may wish to share some of the information presented here with your child(ren). We encourage you to do so.
