D123 Learning Technology Advisory Council (LTAC) Looking for Members

Text reads Learning Technology Advisory Council on a red, transparent background over an image of two students on laptops in a classroom setting.

Technology is part of every school day, and families have good questions about how it's used. D123 is forming the Learning Technology Advisory Council (LTAC), a group of parents, teachers, staff, students, and administrators from across the district who will give the district feedback on learning technology topics that affect all of us.

This year, the council will review our e-learning plan, help shape our student device policy ahead of the new state requirement, learn about the state's new AI guidance, and take up what a balanced approach to screens looks like for PreK-8 students, at school and at home.

The commitment is four to six evening meetings, 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., between September and May. We're building a council that represents all seven schools and a range of family and staff experiences, so selection is about balancing the whole group. We anticipate more interest than we have seats. You can express your interest and apply today at link.d123.org/LTACform.
