New Staff Profile from 22-23 School Year

What are you most excited about this school year? Making a difference in the lives of my students and their families, as well as my colleagues!

What is something you like to do for fun? How does it keep you in a positive mindset? I love being outside and going on adventures with my family and dogs. Fresh air and nature help me to clear my mind and stay positive. I also love to craft and work with power tools!

What would students be surprised to find out about you?  My favorite sport to play is softball; I played for over 14 years! My favorite sport to watch is football and I spend every Sunday (Monday and Thursday nights too!) watching games with my family during football season.

What are your “trapped on a desert island” books, movies, or music? I love music, all different genres! Some of my favorite artists/bands are Mumford and Sons, Adele, Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen.

What is most important to you as an educator? The ability to listen, validate, and empathize with my students!
