On Friday, August 28th, our PBIS team hosted an energetic, school-wide "Bootcamp" to jumpstart the year and reinforce our core expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.
Throughout the morning, staff members partnered up at interactive stations positioned across the campus to show students what the 3 B’s look like in daily action. In the lunchroom and hallways, classes practiced quiet transitions, keeping pathways clear, and leaving eating spaces spotless. Out on the playground, staff led demonstrations on safe equipment use, fair play, and including everyone in games. Rotations through the restrooms and other shared spaces focused on proper handwashing habits, taking care of school property, and maintaining courteous noise levels.
Every grade level moved through the stations together, tracking their progress on an official classroom Bootcamp Certificate that earned a mark after each successful rotation. By the end of the event, every class had completed their training and proudly earned full certification. It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning and school spirit, and our PBIS team looks forward to reinforcing these habits with positive incentives and celebrations all year long.
