What are you most excited about this school year? Getting to know the students I will teach and learning from them. Also the 5 minute commute to work :)

What is something you like to do for fun? How does it keep you in a positive mindset?
I like being outside in nature (Hiking, biking, walking, riding).  It reminds me that I am a small but significant part of the huge world around me & also that I am cared for and loved by the creator of the universe. 

What would students be surprised to find out about you? That I can read a book upside down or that I never downloaded or used snapchat or TikTok 

What are your “trapped on a desert island” books, movies, or music? Book: The Bible - It gives me hope & quiets my anxieties TV Shows: Frasier, Cheer Music: The Eagles, Chicago, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, Elevation Worship, Mercy Me

What is most important to you as an educator? The relationships I build with my students and the impact I leave on their lives
