Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at the ELC

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at the ELC

The Early Learning Center came alive with color, music, and culture as students celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month! Our classrooms explored the rich traditions and diversity of Hispanic cultures through hands-on activities, storytelling, and art.

Students had an exciting opportunity to make guacamole from scratch, as they mashed avocados and mixed in fresh ingredients to create a tasty treat. Families joined in the fun as guest readers, sharing bilingual stories. Students dressed in bright colors and traditional attire, listened to lively music moving to new beats and created artwork inspired by Hispanic traditions.

This celebration not only honored Hispanic heritage but also helped our students appreciate the beauty of different cultures through sight, sound, taste, and storytelling, building understanding and joy that truly make our community shine!
