From royal crowns to 3D-printed inventions, the Kolmar gym was transformed into a bustling hub of history on Tuesday, May 12, for the annual fifth-grade Renaissance and Inventor Fair.
The lakefront was filled with energy this past Saturday, May 9th, as the Kolmar Club’s "Girls on the Run" successfully completed their first-ever spring season with a celebratory 5K at Grant Park. The event, held at the Lower Hutchinson and Avery Fields, served as the grand finale for a season defined by perseverance, teamwork, and growth.
On April 28, the Kolmar Avenue Elementary gym transformed from a standard PE space into a high-energy laboratory. Students were treated to a hair-raising assembly featuring the "very amazing" Professor Rick, whose hands-on demonstrations proved that science is just as much about spectacle as it is about study.
