ELC Hosts Friendsgiving Filled with Treats, Traditions, and Togetherness

ELC classrooms came together for a special Friendsgiving event where students celebrated friendship and thankfulness in creative and delicious ways throughout the week before Thanksgiving Break. Children helped prepare snacks like “pie in a cup” and cornbread made entirely by students, from reading the recipe to mixing, stirring, and baking as a class team. Some classrooms welcomed family members to join in, creating a meaningful celebration where home and school came together.

Adding to the magic, students toasted the occasion with fancy drinkware and enjoyed beautifully arranged tables, making the day feel extra special. Friendsgiving wrapped up not only with full smiles and sticky fingers, but with a sense of belonging, one of the ELC’s Core Values, that captures the heart of the season.
