Kindness is in the air at the ELC as Dr. Enderle, Superintendent of School District 123, visits classrooms to share a story close to his heart, The Little Blue Truck.
The book is a longtime family favorite for Dr. Enderle. When his children were young, they asked to hear it again and again, drawn to its simple but powerful message of helping others and treating everyone with kindness. Wanting to pass that message along, Dr. Enderle chose to share the story with the District’s Little Lions at the ELC.

The story opened the door to conversations about being kind, helping friends, and working together, which are values we strive to nurture every day in our classrooms. By sharing a story rooted in compassion, Dr. Enderle reminded our youngest learners that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Dr. Enderle’s visits leave students with an important lesson: kindness matters, at every age.
