Learning Through Exploration

Learning Through Exploration

Preschoolers at the ELC are busy exploring the world in so many meaningful ways each day. Through hands-on experiences, children learn by doing, whether they are observing live caterpillars and watching them grow, mixing colors to discover new creations, planting flower bulbs or building and playing alongside their friends.

Exploration also includes finding ways for every child to communicate and connect. Some students use AAC devices to share their thoughts, make choices, and engage with others, helping ensure all voices are heard in the classroom community.

By learning together, asking questions, and trying new things, our preschoolers are developing curiosity, creativity, and confidence, one exploration at a time.
