PBIS in Action: A Covington Story

Grade 4 Scoop Champions

Grade 4 Scoop Champions

On Friday, November 19th our PBIS champions celebrated their big win with a icy treat! Students of each grade level competed for "scoops." Scoops were earned by grade levels meeting expecations. The set expectations were using the schools universal attention getter, keeping their eating space clean, and as always being respectful, responsible, and safe recieved one scoop. After five weeks, two grade levels emerged victorious! While all grade levels worked hard, our Grade 4 and Grade 2 students really stood out as leaders.

We are excited to start our new competition in our Encore classes. Grade levels will compete for snowflakes by following the expectations of the Cougar Code. We are excited to see all of the students become leaders and helping their classmates and grade levels achieve their goals.
