Last Thursday November 10, second graders visited the Oak Lawn Public Library. Second grade was very excited as they got to listen and learn more about Oak Lawn's history and community helpers. Students recently learned about what makes a community through their Social studies unit. Afterwards, students also stopped at the Police Department and met with Officer Gollogly to talk about how the police department is a community helper and how they keep our community safe.
