On Thursday Covington School students, staff, and families enjoyed one of our favorite traditions of the year, Zoo Day at Brookfield Zoo! It was a day packed with laughter, learning, and plenty of wild adventures.
From the moment we stepped through the gates, excitement filled the air. Students explored the zoo in groups, spotting everything from playful sea lions to majestic lions, and even some new baby axolotls.
Teachers and parents helped guide groups while encouraging curiosity and exploration.
Zoo Day isn’t just a fun field trip, it’s a special time for our school community to bond outside the classroom, make memories, and celebrate our love of learning through nature. A huge thank you goes out to the staff, volunteers, and families who helped make the day so smooth and enjoyable.
We already can’t wait for next year’s adventure! Until then, we’ll keep the wild memories close and the spirit of discovery alive.
