On the evening of September 18th, the Covington community came together for our annual Bingo Ice Cream Social, and what a night it was! Families packed the gym for an evening filled with laughter, prizes, and plenty of ice cream.
The night took an unexpected turn when the fire alarm went off and our building was briefly evacuated. Thanks to the quick response of the Oak Lawn Fire Department and the calm cooperation of our families, we were able to safely return to the gym and keep the fun going.
Students cheered as they shouted “Bingo!” and proudly collected prizes, while everyone enjoyed delicious ice cream generously donated by Culver’s. The energy in the room was contagious, with parents, kids, and staff all enjoying time together as a community.
A special thank you goes out to our amazing staff members who helped with set-up, clean-up, and everything in between. Your teamwork made the night a huge success!
It was a night to remember, filled with sweet treats, big smiles, and the joy of being together as Cougars.
