Mrs. Rosland's Third Grade Enrichment students recently embarked on an exciting entrepreneurship journey by creating and running their very own lemonade stand for teachers and staff members! With the warmer weather arriving, students thought a refreshing cup of lemonade would be the perfect sweet treat to brighten everyone’s day around the school.
Throughout the project, students worked together every step of the way to bring their lemonade stand to life. They used their creativity to design colorful advertisements and posters to spread the word about their upcoming sale. Students also had so much fun decorating their lemonade stand with bright summer-themed decorations that made it welcoming and cheerful for staff members.
The excitement continued as students helped prepare and make the delicious lemonade. They practiced teamwork, responsibility, and communication skills while carefully organizing orders and delivering refreshing drinks to teachers and staff throughout the building. Staff members were so appreciative of the thoughtful treat and loved supporting our young entrepreneurs.
This hands-on project gave students a wonderful opportunity to learn important entrepreneurship skills such as planning, advertising, teamwork, customer service, and problem solving in a fun and meaningful way. Most importantly, students were proud to spread kindness and smiles around the school while celebrating the start of warmer spring weather with a refreshing glass of lemonade!
A special thank you to Mrs. Rosland for supporting this fun and memorable idea and helping make this sweet experience possible for our students!
