Getting in the Festive Spirit

Festive Fun

First Graders show off the PJs and their decorated door.

The holidays are upon us, and Hometown school is getting into the festive spirit.  Students are learning about holidays around the world and celebrating this time of year by participating in many different fun activities.  Students cozied up this week in their favorite pjs, they shopped for their friends and family at the PTA holiday shop, and teachers are busy decorating their doors for the upcoming door decorating contest. December is a month where we take a pause and think about how lucky we are to be surrounded by friends and family.  Whether you celebrate Christmas or Kwanza, Hanukkah or Ramadan, students are learning that all of these holidays have one thing in common; spending time together.  We are lucky to be a giant family here at Hometown! So from our family to yours....Happy Holidays!
