Kindergarteners and their special friends.
On Friday March 17, 2023, Hometown students invited a special person to attend school with them. Grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles participated in gym activities, went to encores, played math games and more. Families were able to get a glimpse into the day and a life of a Hometown Hornet. Students in art made heart art while second graders played the math game double it up! In gym, parents played speed stackers and took a step back in time and tried their hands at jump rope. It sure is fun to pretend to be a kid again. It was also a special day celebrating St. Patrick's Day with our special friends. Students in first grade read a St. Patrick's Day Scholastic News and did some Pot of Gold subtraction.
