Halloween Parade Marches On

Lots of smiles, excitement, and a bit of spooky fog filled the air on Halloween morning at Sward Elementary School. Families lined up outside to watch the parade of students dressed in various costumes and themes.  First responders, superheroes, witches, dinosaurs, clowns and more, Oh My! Following the parade, students participated in a party planned by the Sward PTA. Classrooms held mummy toilet paper races, guess the spooky item, played various games and enjoyed fall craft projects. A party would not be complete without snacks, to round out the party the students enjoyed the delicious snacks.

Additionally, families were invited to participate in PTA’s annual pumpkin decorating contest. Each year the contest focuses on various categories of design, however this year’s theme was Disney. Do you know Mrs. Kramer loves Disney?   Throughout the morning, students and staff voted for their top 3 favorite pumpkins. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the pumpkin decorating contest.

Thank you PTA for all of the wonderful Halloween activities.
