On Friday, September 26th, Kindergarteners wrapped up their Nursery Rhyme unit with a fun-filled Nursery Rhyme Olympics that brought their favorite rhymes to life through exciting games and activities. It was a joyful celebration to mark the end of the Nursery Rhyme unit, filled with laughter, teamwork, and imagination. Students participated in a variety of challenges such as: the Jack and Jill Water Relay race, the Humpty Dumpty puzzle, where students had to put him back together again. They searched for 12 missing sheep to help Little Bo Peep, then jumped over the candlestick like Jack Be Nimble did. Students also had to run up the sidewalk clock like the mice in Hickory Dickory Dock. In the Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star room, students created their own constellations. Other fun activities included Ring Around the Rosie and searching for spiders that frightened Little Miss Muffett! The Olympics provided a magical, hands-on way for students to celebrate their learning, turning timeless nursery rhymes into memories they will cherish.
