The Sward School PTA proudly sponsored an unforgettable assembly on Thursday, November 6, featuring the Big Air BMX Team. This high-energy group of professional riders delivered jaw-dropping stunts and a powerful anti-bullying message. Students were on the edge of their seats as pro BMX athletes combined thrilling jumps, spins, and tricks with inspiring messages about character, kindness, and making positive choices. The message was clear: everyone has the power to help create a Bully-Free School.
- The Bully Free Message Goals presented during the assembly included:
- The importance of kindness and respect for success in life
- Building a strong community to reduce at-risk behaviors
- Sharing messages from pro athletes students look up to and admire
- Helping students recognize the impact of their words and actions
- Creating a safe environment where bullying is NOT OK
- Encouraging tolerance and acceptance of others
- Equipping students with assertiveness skills to set boundaries and express feelings
