Students Reading Books Together
The halls of Sward School are filled with excitement as the Student Council launches a fun-filled “Countdown to the Next Grade” celebration for students and staff. Designed to recognize the hard work and accomplishments of Sward Eagles during the 2025-2026 school year, the themed countdown encourages school spirit, kindness, creativity, and community involvement.
Each school day features a special theme or activity for students to enjoy together. The celebration kicked off with “Zen Day,” where students practiced calming breathing and stretching activities, followed by “Your Favorite Team Day,” encouraging everyone to show off their favorite sports gear. Throughout the month, students will also participate in “Vocabulary Day,” “Question Day,” “Music Day,” “Lego Day,” and “Game Day.”
The Student Council worked hard to create activities that promote positivity and school pride. Special events such as “Thank a Teacher Day,” “Friendship Day,” and “I Love My School Day” encourage students to celebrate the people and community that make Sward special. Outdoor activities, patrioti celebrations, cultural appreciation days, and even double recess are all part of the exciting lineup.
One highlight of the countdown is “Rock Out to the Spring Concert,” where students will celebrated the musical talents of their classmates and enjoy the sounds of spring. The countdown concludes with “Blast Day” and “Advance to the Next Grade Day,” recognizing students for a successful school year and wishing them continued success in the future.
The Sward Student Council hopes the countdown helps every student finish the school year with smiles, school spirit, and unforgettable memories. Way to go, Sward Eagles!
