Sward Students Bring Fables to Life

Sward first grade students brought their CKLA Fables unit to life through a fun and engaging day of learning!  After reading and discussing a variety of fables throughout the unit, students had the opportunity to participate in five interactive stations inspired by the stories and lessons they had studied.

Each station allowed students to revisit the themes, characters, and morals found in their fables while learning in a hands-on and collaborative way. Students worked together, problem-solved, and, of course, had plenty of fun along the way!

A special shout-out goes to our 5th grade students, who stepped into leadership roles and helped run the stations for their younger Sward classmates. 

It was a wonderful way to celebrate learning and show that when we make connections between what we read and what we do, learning truly comes to life at Sward!
