Bear Behavior Bootcamp

Miss Turek and Mrs. Suehiro explaining appropriate office behavior to 5th graders.

Last Tuesday, Mrs. McGovern and Miss Turek planned a behavior bootcamp for the students of Hannum. The purpose of the bootcamp was to discuss "bear behaviors" that are expected throughout the school. Students discussed acceptable hallway behavior with Mrs. Issa and Mrs. Estand, Mrs. McGovern communicated how to be safe, respectful, and responsible outside, Miss Turek and Mrs. Suehiro explained appropriate behavior in the office, and they talked about the dos and don'ts of bathroom behavior with Ms. Tomanich and Mrs. Van. Students were excited to participate in this bootcamp and they couldn't wait to answer questions. After this bootcamp, students are practicing these bear behaviors by being safe, being respectful, and being responsible at Hannum.
