In just a few short weeks, fifth grade students will be entering their final trimester at Hannum Elementary. Teachers are preparing them for middle school and they begin to discuss what to expect. Which is why Mrs. Noisette tapped into her students interests to discuss life lessons and motivate her fifth graders. She invited an former NFL football player to her classroom. Michael Martin, a former wide receiver that played seven seasons with the Cinncinati Bengals, joined Mrs. Noisette's class last Thursday. He discussed the importance of setting goals and working to achieve them. He also talked about all the lessons football has taught him. It is always a wonderful experience for our students when a guest speaker visits the classroom because it gives them oppotunities to learn about different experiences in the real world. These fifth graders were definitely inspired!
