Miss Kopper's rewards students for following directions the first time.
At Hannum, we're kicking off an exciting school year by focusing on the Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) principles that help make our school a safe, respectful, and responsible place to learn and grow. One fun way we recognize students who follow these expectations is by giving out Bear Bucks!
Bear Bucks are handed out by staff when they see students making positive choices-whether it's being a good friend, showing responsibility in class, helping others, or following directions the first time. Every time you earn a Bear Buck, you're showing that you are a Hannum Bear who knows how to lead and rock your roll!
But the best part? Bear Bucks can be saved up and used later for special rewards! At the end of each month, the Bear Booth will open and students can trade in their Bucks for fun prizes, school supplies, and other surprises.
So keep making those good choices and collect those Bear Bucks. You never know what awesome reward might be waiting!
