OLHMS offers a variety of educational opportunities for students in the performing arts.

Concert Chorus is comprised of vocalists from OLHMS. Members in this group have displayed a high degree of proficiency as mandated by the director. This chorus performs at various concerts and community groups throughout the school year. This group rehearses before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Bus transportation is provided for each morning session from every Elementary Feeder School. See Ms. Hughes, in room 1219 if your student is interested in joining this group.
Sunrise Singers is an entry level choral group at OLHMS open to any 6th grade student with or without any prior musical experience. Students learn the basics of quality choral singing while enjoying the benefits of participating in a performance group. Rehearsals are held on Wed. & Fri. mornings from 7:30 – 8:25 am. A morning activity bus is available from each feeder school. See Ms. Hughes in room 1219 for more information.
