National Junior Honor Society

The Oak Lawn–Hometown Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a prestigious organization available to our current 7th and 8th grade students.

Students who are interested in petitioning for membership, as well as current members who wish to maintain their NJHS membership, must meet and uphold the qualifying standards that reflect the five pillars of NJHS: Scholarship, Citizenship, Leadership, Character, and Service.

Petitioning students must meet the eligibility requirements and maintain the criteria outlined in the NJHS Bylaws in order to be considered for induction into the organization later this school year. Current NJHS members are also expected to continue meeting these standards to remain active members in good standing.

Please review all requirements carefully and ensure that all expectations are met by the designated deadlines.

If you have any questions, please contact the NJHS sponsors: Mrs. Maggie Omiecinski, Ms. Jen DiSalvo, & Mrs. Alyssa Zajack.
