Coach Merkle and her #OLHMS Lady Mustangs have started off their season undefeated with wins over Conrady, Simmons, and Palos! In the Mustangs first home game win, Peyton C. dominated the court with 9 spikes to help her team beat Conrady in two sets. Along with Peyton, Emily C., Julie M., and Abby C., all contributed with laser-like serves Conrady could not return. In the ladies third win over Palos, the Mustangs were down 14-7 in the first set, but rallied back to win the first set 25-20. With a second set loss, the Mustangs persevered and were determined to beat the Cardinals even with a delay at a critical 15-13 score. Laying everything out on the line, the Mustangs beat the Cardinals with a final set score of 25-17. Our Lady Mustangs are on fire with a 3-0 start to the season!
