Our 8th grade OLHMS boys basketball players were honored as they walked onto the court this past Monday, February 28th against Orland Junior High. Despite the tough two point loss against Orland, Coach Dare and his Mustangs have a phenomenal record of 14-3. In Monday’s 8th grade night game, Jack D. led all players in points, Justin C. led the Mustangs with several assists and key buckets, Martice L. had many strong finishes at the rim, and Michael had countless offensive and defensive rebounds throughout the game. Our 8th grade Mustangs not only had professional posters made, but they gave their loved ones a presentation carnation as they were announced one-by-one. With playoffs quickly approaching this week, our 8th grade boys have earned a spot as the 3rd seed overall. Our 8th grade Mustangs will play this Saturday, March 5th at 5:45pm in the second round of the SWIC tournament. We cannot wait to see you at OLHMS this Saturday to support our Mustangs!
